Your photo of Daleigh is beautiful. I think the subject matter is interesting. I don't believe I would have realized this was a photo op if I was on the bus in that moment. You do a very good job of watching everyday things and pulling the magic out.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of Brianna at Highgate is so beautiful. I love the natural line that the top of the crosses make! The camera angle and the way Brianna is looking up at them make the crosses look very large and towering. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the photograph of the couple dressed up It is very cute! The only thing i would change is having the other people in the shot a bit more blurred out so that the focal point is really on the couple to add little more drama! But all of your shots are great!
ReplyDeleteI really love the photo of the girl on the bus. To me the fact that she is staring out the window makes me wonder what she is thinking of and to get this kind of emotion in a photograph is really great. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI really love your photo of the stone crosses and Brianna looking up to them. The light in the photo feels like it's shinning down from heaven and looking upon another soul and the ones that have passed on. I feel like color was the absolute right choice for this photo. I feel like black and white would not have gave that same emotion and depth that color does. I also love how the green leaves partially frame the photo and how Briana is looking up at the crosses.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of the couple and the man in the park. I think it is neat how you are capturing them candid. The colors in the picture with the couple are very pretty. I wish the poles of the sign weren't in the picture of the man in the park but it is still a wonderful picture. I also like that you did the girl on the bus in black and white it makes it very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of Brianna looking up at the graves in Highgate is surreal. So much is happening in this photo that contributes to its success:
ReplyDeleteThe natural light coming in from behind the tree canopy gives us a warm feeling when looking around the photo
The lines our eyes go are always active because each corner of the frame is filled with an interesting subject matter.
The tree in the top right corner sends our eyes back too the line of headstones which are also lined up perfectly.
The camera angle captures the magnitude of the headstones compared to Brianna.
I enjoy how there is a theme of people gazing out with a sense of wonder in most of your photos. It really ties your whole body of work together so far.
